Spring is such a marvelous time to birth new beginnings. I get so inspired by just going outside and noticing what nature is painting for us day after day, such pictures of infinite beauty. I have made a 30 day pledge to myself to exercise in nature every day for at least 30 minutes. Why 30 days you may ask? Well, it has been proven that it takes 21 days to create a new habit, so I added on an extra few days to really lock it in. Actually, I really did not have a big reason for the 30 days, it just felt like something Iwanted to do, rather than a “should” (done with shouding on myself). Getting out in nature, first thing in the morning is my way of starting my day that nurtures and supports me in connecting with all the new birthings in Nature. It is so inspiring to focus on what I desire to birth in my life. I am also reminded how great it feels to make a commitment to myself. In March I participated in Moksha Yoga Kelowna 30 day yoga challenge. I was amazed how easily I was able to fit the classes into my day once I made the commitment. I loved how satisfying it felt giving this gift to myself. I also recalled how amazing I felt when I ran my marathon. I remember setting that goal. It was a lighthearted challenge with some girlfriends over a glass of wine while soaking in a hot tub. I recall the overwhelming feeling a few days later when the reality of the goal ahead settled in. The furthest I had run at one time was much less than marathon. I could have easily talked myself out of this goal, yet I didn’t. I chose to create a plan and work the plan. Every day I took the steps, sometimes baby steps and yes some days were better than others. Taking action every day is what kept me going. I did not do this alone, I had lot’s of support and yes a coach to cheer me on and hold me accountible to my vision. I truly connected with the joy of the journey. Ccompleting the marathon is one of the highlights of my life’s BIG JOYS!
I have spent a good part of this past year renovating my business and offerings. I am so delighted to be in a place where I am ready to share my rebirthing with the world. It gives me a feeling of inspired passion knowing there are people who are ready to embrace changes in their lives.
